Forest Bather Nylon Hiking Shoe
Forest Bather Nylon Hiking Shoe
Story
Japanese values and Finnish hiking practicality—masterfully realized with Portuguese craftsmanship
The Forest Bather merges technical hiking elements with traditional Japanese embroidery. Designed in Finland and made in Portugal, the aptly named silhouette references the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku, which involves absorbing the forest atmosphere with mindfulness and intention. Thanks to thoughtful touches—such as sueded accents along the heel, a Japanese embroidery lacing system, and lugged outsoles, the Forest Bather’s practical design faithfully encourages wandering deep into the unknown.
