Story

Hardy, fisherman-knit build holds its shape over time

With a name like Marine Layer, it's no surprise they'd keep a classic fisherman's sweater in their lineup. Knit from a substantial cotton blend, the Coleman pulls more than its weight in warmth, comfort, and style. Raglan sleeves offer excellent range of motion. And just the right amount of stretch delivers easy movement while also remaining sturdy enough to hold its shape over time. Even more, its richly textured, flecked appearance adds distinct visual points to your 'fit.

About Marine Layer

It took our buddy Mike, the founder of Marine Layer, more than a year to make his very first shirt. But when he made it, he knew he'd made it thanks to the fact it felt just as broken-in and well-worn as his favorite tee from high school (Mike's old, well, old'ish). Today, Mike, Adam, and the Marine Layer gang have earned a cult following thanks to their absurdly soft tees which are made from a proprietary fabric that includes recycled beechwood and their latest Re-Spun program. A program that recycles old tees, and gives them a second life, making one of the most sustainable fabrications out there.
