To come out the other side of a Finnish winter in one piece, your feet need to be well equipped to handle everything from rain to snow to dirt, or any combination of those footwear killers. Tarvas wanted to create a shoe that could survive these elements while retaining an elevated design—that’s how the Explorer shoe was born. Built from supple suede leather with a waterproof mudguard protector and a tractioned rubber outsole, you won’t know whether to hit the office or the trail with these guys. Good news for ya, they were built for both ends of the spectrum, so feel free to lace ‘em up any day of the week.
