The Flint and Tinder Dry Wax Trucker is the lighter, unlined version of our bestselling Flannel-Lined Waxed Trucker. Trading the heavily saturated, "wet" feel of standard American Martexin sailcloth, this version opts for British Millerain’s Ranger 6 dry-wax cloth. This premium fabric offers a clean, matte appearance and a crisp, completely dry handfeel—crafted by the storied, family-owned Yorkshire factory that has been spinning it since 1880. It boasts excellent weather-resistance and is machine washable. (Our "wet" waxed outerwear can't be washed—just wiped with a damp cloth.) The result is a versatile transitional layer that won't make you overheat when the sun's out but shrugs off wind and rain when the weather turns.

How to Measure
- Chest: Measure straight across from edge to edge, starting 1" below the armhole, multiply by 2
- Shoulder: Measure straight across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam. Again, it’s easiest to measure across the back of the garment
- Body Length: Start at the top of the shoulder where it meets the neck seam, and measure straight down to the hem
- Sleeve Length: Start at the center of the back of the neck, measure straight across to the shoulder seam, and then follow the edge of the garment to the cuff. Pro tip: it’s easiest to measure across the back of the sleeve

British Millerain has been an authority on waxed cotton since the Miller family founded their factory in Halifax, Yorkshire, in 1880. They pioneered paraffin-based wax finishes—a breakthrough that delivered better weather resistance without the cracking that plagued early oilcloths. Ranger 6 dry cloth is the newest evolution in the brand's line. Part of the TekWax collection, the fabric takes its name from ranchers roaming the American West, where durable garments were essential for navigating harsh weather and demanding terrain.
