The Flint and Tinder Dry Wax Trucker is built for the guy who needs a rugged layer without the weight. To get there, we turned to a crisp, unlined design using British Millerain Ranger 6 dry-wax cloth.
British Millerain has been the authority on waxed cotton since the Miller family founded their factory in Halifax, Yorkshire, in 1880. They pioneered paraffin-based wax finishing—a breakthrough that delivered better weather resistance without the cracking of earlier oilcloths. Through the decades, British Millerain has outfitted everyone from sailors and WWII mountain troops to countryside hunters, fishermen, and modern menswear enthusiasts. Ranger 6 dry cloth is the next evolution from the brand. Part of the TekWax line, the fabric takes its name from ranchers roaming America's vast landscapes, where durable garments were a necessity in navigating harsh weather and demanding terrain.
This transitional layer stays cool when the sun's out and shrugs off wind and rain when the weather turns. And like all great waxed cotton jackets, it gets better the more you wear it.

How to Measure
- Chest: Measure straight across from edge to edge, starting 1" below the armhole, multiply by 2
- Shoulder: Measure straight across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam. Again, it’s easiest to measure across the back of the garment
- Body Length: Start at the top of the shoulder where it meets the neck seam, and measure straight down to the hem
- Sleeve Length: Start at the center of the back of the neck, measure straight across to the shoulder seam, and then follow the edge of the garment to the cuff. Pro tip: it’s easiest to measure across the back of the sleeve
