Nestled in the small northern Italian town of Castel D’ario (Mantova) since the 19th century, Astorflex is a family endeavor that’s been elevating the shoe game for seven generations. From suede desert boots to everyday leather chukkas, each custom style is handbuilt to the Travenzoli family’s legendary standards. In fact, when we first discovered their criminally underrated chukkas a while back, they shipped each order with a box of pasta from their family-run restaurant. Basically, any shoemaker can put Italian leather on rubber soles and call it a day, but few can turn those same materials into a walking work of art. And that’s just what Astroflex does.
