It’s not hard to see why Hyperlite Mountain Gear is an undeniable leader in the ultralight backpacking and thru-hiking worlds. Created by lifelong backcountry explorer and relentless tinkerer Mike St. Pierre, HMG pioneered the use of Dyneema® fibers (an incredible material that’s lighter than Silnylon and stronger than Kevlar) over a decade ago to create ultralight, insanely durable packs for backcountry travelers. Leveraging the same design know-how and materials that have been trail-tested for tens of thousands of miles through rugged backcountry environments, HMG is proud to offer the ideal out-and-back pack for day missions.
