VAER designed their D4 Meridian Solar with the goal of paying homage to the history of military dive watches. Its dial and bezel design were inspired by Rolex and Doxa military divers from the 1970s while the case takes inspiration from the military-issued Omega Speedmaster. Building on its reliable, solar-powered movement, the D4 can run off any light source (even candlelight), ensuring optimal visibility even in the darkest underwater trenches. Rounded out with a blacked-out dial and X1-Grade W20 SuperLuminova paint, this watch is the epitome of dependability with an incredible, sub-$500 price tag.
