Ralph Lauren launched his offshoot brand, RRL, in 1993, and the custom-embroidered “Double RL” patch on this trucker hat is inspired by a ball cap they rolled out that same year. Made from Japanese cotton twill with mesh back panels and an adjustable snapped back strap, it leans heavily into its old school, blue-collar roots.

Ralph Lauren was born in the Bronx to immigrant parents, and went on to become a US Army soldier, tie salesman, businessman, philanthropist, oh, and an iconic fashion designer.
