Gitman Vintage
Cotton Linen Dobby Stripe Camp Collar Shirt
Cotton Linen Dobby Stripe Camp Collar Shirt
Story
USA-made using a centuries-old dobby loom
The Dobby Shirt is crafted by running Gitman's proprietary cotton-linen blend fabric through a dobby loom, a technique dating back to the 1840s. The result: a super complex and nuanced weave that sets itself apart from any imitators. Add to that the fact that it's made in the USA with fine details like flat-felled seams and a lined collar, and you've got yourself one killer shirt. Elevated enough for a night out and breathable enough to break a sweat in, this one-of-a-kind shirt proves its worth in just about anywhere.

About Gitman Vintage
The shirtmaking tradition Max Gitman started in 1932 is still being carried out to this day. Besides the sewing rooms where seasoned shirtmakers cut and sew Gitman’s prized pieces, their HQ is practically a library of rare fabrics and heritage designs going back nearly a century. By poring over this history, Gitman Vintage gets the ideas for each of their small, seasonal collections. Maybe one release is an oxford dye we’ve never seen before, and the next is a sturdy, limited-run flannel—each leaving us wanting to make a couple more long-term investments in our wardrobe.
