Story

A cozy, quilted overshirt you’ll want to wear everywhere

Usually you have to put a garment through years of wear to get that well-loved, vintage feel. Thankfully though, Marine Layer figured out how to make clothes feel that good right out of the box, and with each new release we're reminded once again that there's a reason their name is synonymous with softness. Quilted for warmth and oh-so-cozy, the Corbet Quilted Overshirt is warm enough for layering on a cold-weather outing and cozy enough for relaxing on the couch.

About Marine Layer

It took our buddy Mike, the founder of Marine Layer, more than a year to make his very first shirt. But when he made it, he knew he'd made it thanks to the fact it felt just as broken-in and well-worn as his favorite tee from high school (Mike's old, well, old'ish). Today, Mike, Adam, and the Marine Layer gang have earned a cult following thanks to their absurdly soft tees which are made from a proprietary fabric that includes recycled beechwood and their latest Re-Spun program. A program that recycles old tees, and gives them a second life, making one of the most sustainable fabrications out there.
