Story

A cable-knit crew built for decades of wear

Barbour’s been outfitting everyone from British royalty to rugged outdoorsmen since 1894, so it’s safe to say they’ve got knitwear down to an art form. The Cleveland Crewneck takes a premium wool-cotton blend and turns it into a timeless silhouette—at home in the countryside or a night out. Half-cardigan sleeves and back add subtle contrast, while the breathable knit keeps you warm without the bulk. Whether layered under a waxed jacket for the field or thrown over a tee for the pub, this is one sweater that never misses its mark.

Features

  • Wool-cotton blend that’s warm, breathable, and durable
  • Cable knit front panel with half-cardigan sleeves and back

Note: this one is much easier with a partner

About Barbour

What started in 1894 in the small coastal town of South Shields, England has grown into the cultural titan we know today, recognized by The Queen and worn by a different kind of royalty: James Bond. Fortunately for us, Barbour never forgot where they came from. Maybe that’s because they never actually left. Five generations later, this family-run business still operates in South Shields, bringing wit, grit and glamour to its beautifully functional clothing inspired by the British Countryside. They may be best known for their waxed cotton garments, but every piece of clothing they design is built on the same founding principles of quality, attention to detail, durability, and being fit for purpose.
