Story

A warm-weather staple in indigo check seersucker

Nothing beats a short-sleeve seersucker shirt when the temps rise—its signature crinkled texture lifts the fabric off your skin, letting air flow to keep you cool all day long. The Check Lee is cut from a pre-washed 72% cotton, 28% linen blend, delivering a soft, broken-in feel right from the first wear. Its yarn-dyed indigo check pattern is ruggedly accented by Corozo nut buttons on the front placket and dual chest pockets built for utility.

How to Measure - Your Chest: Measure under your arms around the widest part of your chest, keeping the tape level across the front and back to get an accurate measurement - Garment Chest: Measure straight across from edge to edge, starting 1" below the armhole, multiply by 2 - Garment Shoulder: Measure straight across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam. Again, it’s easiest to measure across the back of the garment - Garment Body Length: Start at the top of the shoulder where it meets the neck seam, and measure straight down to the hem - Garment Sleeve Length: Start at the center of the back of the neck, measure straight across to the shoulder seam, and then follow the edge of the garment to the cuff. Pro tip: it’s easiest to measure across the back of the sleeve

Care

  • Machine washable
  • Dyed with true indigo, which may rub off onto fabrics, leather and upholstery

About RRL

About a century ago in the American West, durable garments were made for gritty work, enduring long days in harsh climates. Inspired by this iconic style, Ralph Lauren founded Double RL (named after his Colorado ranch). Starting with a handmade necktie in 1967, the RRL brand has always focused on timeless designs and top-quality materials—untouched by passing trends—and gone on to become an American legend, appearing in films and on the Olympic stage. Ralph Lauren's dedication to quality is unwavering, from RRL denim to the hallmark pony polo and the high-end Purple Label collection. Each piece balances ruggedness and refinement, which is why RRL always earns a spot (or many) in our closet.
