Story

Soft, sturdy 100% cotton chamois workshirt

Originally built for outdoorsmen and hunters in the early 20th century, chamois shirts were quickly adopted by tradesmen and laborers for their comfort and no-nonsense durability. When designing their own, our team at Flint and Tinder studied well-worn, vintage examples put through the wringer on the job. They chose thick, 100% cotton chamois fabric, then added details suited for work—like elbow patches for durability and triangle gussets at the side seams for ease of movement.

Features

  • Oval elbow patches edgestitched in place for added durability
  • Triangle gussets at the side seams for a clean hem and freedom of movement
  • Two chest pockets with button-closure flaps and sturdy bartack stitches at the corners

Sizing

  • The Chamois Workshirt fits true to size. Take your usual shirt size.
  • For the best personal fit, compare the measurements of one of your best-fitting shirts to the garment measurements below

How to Measure - Chest: Measure straight across from edge to edge, starting 1" below the armhole, multiply by 2 - Shoulder: Measure straight across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam. Again, it’s easiest to measure across the back of the garment - Body Length: Start at the top of the shoulder where it meets the neck seam, and measure straight down to the hem - Sleeve Length: Start at the center of the back of the neck, measure straight across to the shoulder seam, and then follow the edge of the garment to the cuff. Pro tip: it’s easiest to measure across the back of the sleeve
