In 2017 Rancourt celebrated their fiftieth anniversary of handcrafting some of the handsomest, hardest-working, USA-made shoes and boots in existence. Exclusively available at Huckberry, this rendition of their superb Carson Sneaker takes a classic American sneaker silhouette and improves it in only the way Rancourt could do. The uppers of this Carson Low are cut from a subtly textured bison leather that Tasman Tannery in Maine crafts to be water resistant and very durable. Once they pass the leather to Rancourt, their skilled shoemakers make each shoe by hand, including cutting the leather, forming it to the last and stitching on the Vibram Strighton sole. The result is one of the best sneakers around, one that, with the proper care, you might find yourself handing down to the next generation with pride.
