Nestled in the small Northern Italian town of Castel D’ario (Mantova) since the 19th century, Astorflex is a family-run footwear brand that’s been elevating the category for seven generations. From suede desert boots to leather chukkas, each custom-made style is hand-built to the Travenzoli family’s legendary standards. In fact, when we first discovered their criminally underrated chukkas a while back, they shipped each order with a box of pasta from their family-run restaurant. We quickly learned that any shoemaker can put Italian leather on rubber soles and call it a day, but few can turn those same materials into a walking work of art. And that’s just what Astorflex does.
