Bi-Waffle Thermal Mock
Bi-Waffle Thermal Mock
Story
A waffle-knit mock-neck layer with military roots
Originally developed in the early ’50s by the U.S. Navy as an insulating baselayer, the waffle-knit thermal has become a modern wardrobe staple. Relwen paid close attention to that military heritage when developing the Bi-Waffle Thermal Mock. Knit from 100% cotton, it provides lightweight, breathable warmth when temperatures dip. The mock neck provides extra warmth, and its three-button placket is bound and trapunto-stitched for added durability—a detail found on vintage military garments.
Features

About Relwen
There’s a certain familiarity to Relwen that reminds us of days spent paging through old Sears & Roebuck catalogs, lusting over lever-action rifles, brass compasses, and rugged outerwear. In a way, those things and more have shaped the modern Relwen collection, where classic Americana, a vintage hunting aesthetic, and modern technical upgrades all blend into perfectly considered menswear that will last you for years.
