Bareflex Chukka Boot
Story
Italian-made chukka boots built with a more comfortable, ergonomic shape
An evolution of one of Astorflex’s bestselling chukkas, the Brownflex, the new Bareflex Chukka Boot rebuilds the silhouette with a more comfortable, ergonomic shape. It boasts a classic, three-eye construction—a nod to the pairs that originally popularized the style back in the early 19th century—with an unlined leather upper for a flexible feel from the first wear. The wider toe box provides extra breathing room at the front of the shoe so your toes can splay naturally, reducing stress points and foot fatigue. Rounded out with a wedge sole made entirely of natural crepe, these are a faithful homage to the chukka with a modern twist that makes them even easier to wear.

About Astorflex
Nestled in the small Northern Italian town of Castel D’ario (Mantova) since the 19th century, Astorflex is a family-run footwear brand that’s been elevating the category for six generations. From suede desert boots to leather chukkas, each custom-made style is hand-built to the Travenzoli family’s legendary standards. In fact, when we first discovered their criminally underrated chukkas a while back, they shipped each order with a box of pasta from their family-run restaurant. We quickly learned that any shoemaker can put Italian leather on rubber soles and call it a day, but few can turn those same materials into a walking work of art. And that’s just what Astorflex does.
