Comfortable moc toe derby handcrafted in Northern Italy
Few footwear brands can say their shoes are crafted entirely by hand. Astorflex can. They’ve been doing it that way for over seven generations. The Artflex Derby is a refined moc toe silhouette handmade at the Travenzoli family’s workshop in Northern Italy. It’s built from premium, pebbled bovine leather with a vegetable-tanned calf leather lining. The shoes are then paired with a flexible crepe sole for comfort, followed by a memory foam footbed for additional support.

Nestled in the small Northern Italian town of Castel D’ario (Mantova) since the 19th century, Astorflex is a family-run footwear brand that’s been elevating the category for seven generations. From suede desert boots to leather chukkas, each custom-made style is hand-built to the Travenzoli family’s legendary standards. In fact, when we first discovered their criminally underrated chukkas a while back, they shipped each order with a box of pasta from their family-run restaurant. We quickly learned that any shoemaker can put Italian leather on rubber soles and call it a day, but few can turn those same materials into a walking work of art. And that’s just what Astorflex does.
