Story
Comfortable moc toe derby with heritage charm
Few footwear brands can say their shoes are crafted 100% by hand. Astorflex can say they’ve been doing it that way for over seven generations. The Artflex Derby is a refined moc toe derby handcrafted in the Astroflex family’s factory in Northern Italy, made using a supple bovine leather suede for the upper, and a vegetable-tanned calf leather for the lining. The shoes are then paired with a memory foam footbed for a plush feel, followed by a sturdy and cushioned crepe rubber outsole to handle multiple types of terrain. The result is a suede shoe that balances heritage charm with modern comfort, and wears well just about anywhere.

About Astorflex
When you take top-grade, eco-conscious leather sourced from Tuscany’s master tanneries and pair it with the meticulous art of Italian craftsmanship, you get nothing short of an Astorflex shoe. Nestled in the small northern Italian town of Castel D’ario (Mantova) since the 19th century, Astorflex is a family endeavor that’s been elevating the shoe game for six generations. From suede desert boots to everyday leather chukkas, each custom style is handbuilt to the Travenzoli family’s legendary standards. In fact, when we first discovered their criminally underrated chukkas a while back, they shipped each order with a box of pasta from their family-run restaurant. Basically, any shoemaker can put Italian leather on rubber soles and call it a day, but few can turn those same materials into a walking work of art. And that’s just what Astroflex does.
