Angler Moc
Story
Classic New England fisherman’s shoes, handcrafted in Maine
Way more than just a boat shoe, Yuketen’s Angler Moc is in a league of its own. Inspired by the hardy kicks worn by freshwater fishermen, this handsome moc-toe shoe is handmade in Maine using full-grain, flesh-out leather sourced from Italy. The leather not only looks incredible, it also holds its shape, creates a smooth fit around your foot, and leaves a unique suede-like texture on the exterior. The Angler Moc is finished with a plush nine-layer midsole and a leather insole that’ll mold to your foot over time, and a chunky Vibram outsole gives this shoe lockdown grip on boat decks and city streets alike.

About Yuketen
Every now and then you get a mad scientist-type innovator who seems to bend all the rules. It turns out that Yuketen’s lead designer, Yuki Matsuda, falls into that category—and it’s totally paid off, since he’s now one of the most revered shoemakers out there. Using traditional shoe-making techniques and heritage styles as his foundation (think work boots and moccasins) he reimagines the whole shoe—adding here, taking away there, resulting in a modern hybrid of all the best-looking and comfiest parts.
