We fused the warmth of a fleece with the breathability of a running layer to create a hoodie built for everything from trail runs to winter training sessions to nights out on the town. Powered by Polartec Alpha Direct—the same open-mesh fleece engineered for U.S. Special Forces—the fabric dumps heat as you move, then traps warmth the moment you stop.
It’s lighter, softer, and more breathable than wool, dries fast, and packs to a fist without wrinkling. This fabric earned the highest test results ever recorded by the Special Operations Forces evaluation team, outperforming every insulation for breathability, durability, and quick-drying power. One layer replaces two or three, saving weight and simplifying your kit.

- The ShadowFleece™ Hoodie has a standard fit. Take your normal size.

How to Measure
- Chest: Measure straight across from edge to edge, starting 1" below the armhole, multiply by 2
- Shoulder: Measure straight across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam. Again, it’s easiest to measure across the back of the garment
- Body Length: Start at the top of the shoulder where it meets the neck seam, and measure straight down to the hem
- Sleeve Length: Start at the center of the back of the neck, measure straight across to the shoulder seam, and then follow the edge of the garment to the cuff. Pro tip: it’s easiest to measure across the back of the sleeve
Materials & Care
- 100% Polyester, 85gsm (about half as light as your average t-shirt fabric)
- Mesh core with lofted fleece fibers
- Machine wash warm on normal cycle, tumble dry low, do not bleach, do not iron, do not dry clean, do not use fabric softener
