About CHUP
Based in Tokyo’s Sendagi neighborhood, CHUP makes their socks in limited editions with intricate patterns inspired by the natural world and folk art. The fabric is knitted on old school stocking frame machines—one of the first knitting machines ever invented—and then finished by linking each loop in the fabric by hand to create a seamless interior.
