Inspired by vintage surf trunks—updated with stretch and modern performance
Combine the rebellious cool of the original boardshorts from the ‘60s with the performance of modern day materials and you get the Stretch ‘66 Boardshort. The soft-washed fabric feels great against the skin, and it’s infused with enough stretch material to make Stretch Armstrong blush, giving you the flexibility for any adventure on or off the water. Crafted with a lived-in feel and sun-faded colorway, built to last, and made with Bluesign®-approved fabric so you can feel good about wearing them.

About Wellen
Bonfires on the beach, first light surf sessions, windows down on a weekend road trip. These laid back, no-shoes days are what inspire Wellen. Ethical and Sustainable Factories: Wellen only partners with forward-thinking factories that create fair, safe, and healthy working conditions, and lead the industry in sustainability practices. For example, almost all excess water and scraps generated in the creation of a Wellen garment are recycled and repurposed into commercial products—like bricks!

Responsible Purchasing: Wellen is committed to small batch manufacturing. The apparel industry has troubling overstock problems, sending tons of unsold merchandise into landfills. By producing limited runs, we ensure every Wellen garment gets its day in the sun.
