18” Double Burner Griddle
18” Double Burner Griddle
Story
Built for Sunday brunch and taco Tuesday
Set an extra plate, this double-burner griddle is made for feasting. It distributes heat evenly as any good cast iron should, but the design upgrades really take it over the top. Angled sides offer easy spatula access all the way around, and that shallow channel catches grease without hogging up real estate so you can cook edge-to-edge. As for the surface, it’s machine-smoothed and hand-polished for food that slides right off.

Care
- For the first few uses, add more oil than usual to build up the seasoning and avoid acidic foods
- Once the seasoning builds up, it’ll handle any food with ease
- Wash by hand immediately after use with warm water
- To avoid rust, do not soak, leave in the sink, or put in the dishwasher
- If needed, remove stubborn bits of food with a wood scraper or chain mail scrubber
- After cleaning, wipe dry then buff in a light coating of oil and warm it on your stove to evaporate moisture
- Your seasoning will darken from bronze to black over time
- Fix trouble spots by buffing in a light coat of oil and heating over medium heat until the oil begins to smoke
About Finex
On a quest for cookware that would inspire them to cook more, Portland-based FINEX took on the herculean task of reinventing cast iron. Going back to the literal drawing board, they came up with something you won’t find in your grandma’s cupboard: an octagon shape. It’s not just aesthetic, their patented design offers multiple pour spouts and gives spatulas a flat edge to lift out baked goods with nary a crumble. Add on “Speed Cool” spring handles and a near non-stick bronze finish, and this cookware is fit for use indoors and out, on any heat source—including induction.
